Back in July, the Birkdale Sports Club came alive with two premier darts events showcasing some of the sport’s finest talent on the big stage.
Eagle Sports, together with One80 Darts, were proud to continue their support as event sponsors, and help contribute to the Australia darting scene.
Pacific Masters
Crowds witnessed top-tier action at the Pacific Masters Silver WDF event, which was packed to capacity and featured many state representatives alongside stars Simon Whitlock, Ben Robb, James Bailey, Gordon Mathers, and Mick Lacey.
Jo Hadley claimed the women's title with an excellent 5-1 victory over Tori Kewish, averaging 70.14. Hadley had earlier defeated Sara Harrison while Kewish overcame Tracey MacDonald in the semi-finals. The men's final belonged to New Zealand's Ben Robb, who produced a stellar 98.9 average to defeat Raymond Smith 6-1. Smith advanced past Karl Schafer, while Robb edged James Bailey in a thrilling semi-final clash.
Both champions delivered outstanding performances.

Australian Darts State Championship
Birkdale Sports Club continued hosting elite competition with the Australian State Championship delivering thrilling finals. Raymond Smith successfully defended his 2024 title, defeating teammate Tyson Hillcoat in an outstanding men's singles final.
Victoria's Tori Kewish announced her return to form in spectacular fashion, claiming the women's singles crown with an excellent victory over NSW's Monica Ribeiro.
In the state standings, Western Australia and Queensland shared top honors, followed by Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, and ACT.
Smith's back-to-back titles and Kewish's triumphant comeback highlighted another successful championship at the Queensland venue.
20 Years Attendance
A special highlight went to Mitch Clegg, celebrating an incredible milestone of 20 years at the Australian Dart Championships. An impressive achievement!
