Over the weekend the annual Australian Darts Championships were held, marking the 45th year for this national event, in combination with the Pacific Masters.

As a sponsor, Eagle Sports were proud to attend the event that draws players from across the country to compete on the oche.

DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

In the Singles events Jucinta Dann took out the win in the Womens category against competitor Joanne Hadley, while over in the mens Raymond Smith claimed victory against Lindsay Haji-Ali. This marked Raymonds third consecutive Australian Champions Mens Singles win - with 5 titles in total!

In the Doubles rounds, the team of Andrea Hendley and Monica Ribeiro cinched the win against Jade Whitworth and Tereasa Morris for the womens round, and for mens, Justin Miles and Blake Hatchett won against runner up team Jamie Rundle and Raymond Smith. In the Mixed Doubles, Janiya Finlay and Dewayne Turner took on Blake Hatchett and Jucinta Dann, with the latter claiming the win.,

Over in the Teams event, WA was the state winner against VIC for Womens, and QLD took it out in the Mens against VIC.

In the Peter McMenamin Cup in the womens event VIC won against QLD, while WA beat out QLD for the win in the mens.

PACIFIC MASTERS RESULTS

In the Pacific Masters the womens event saw Christine Richardson take the victory over Tiarna Dorotich, and the mens winner was Blake Hatchett against Joe Comito.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT EVENT

The event had a terrific turnout with a huge congratulations to the winners, and a shout out to everyone who participated or helped make this event happen.
