Back in the 2023-24 season Cricket Australia officially mandated the use of neck guards for facing fast or medium pace bowling in CA-sanctioned competitions to ensure player safety, and now strongly recommends their use for all community cricket participants.
Why Use A Neck Protector
Modern cricket helmets offer excellent protection for your head but they can leave your neck and upper back exposed - which is where a neck protector comes in.
A neck guard provides targeted defence for your neck, sitting at the back of the helmet right behind the ear line.

As part of our Shrey range, we offer the Shrey Pro Neck Protector. Available in various sizes it features tough dual layer foam construction with impact absorption technology. Incredibly light, with an arc shape design and hook-and-loop fasteners, they are comfortable to wear without restricting your movement.
Shrey Pro Neck Protectors conform to the latest British Standards and are CE, UKCA and UKNI Certified.

Now Included In The Box
Every new Shrey batting helmet from Eagle Sports now includes a Shrey Pro Neck Protector in the box as standard - meaning you are ready to play from day one.
If you already own a Shrey helmet and need a neck protector, they can also be ordered seperately here, and are easy to attach to your helmet.
