About Eagle Sports
ABOUT US
Eagle Sports was founded in 1984 by John Cox and his father, Gordon Cox, the former proprietor of JL Burley Pty Ltd. The company started out as a small manufacturing and sporting goods agency business supplying the Western Australian market.
Over the years, Eagle Sports represented a number of leading brands in WA, and also spent time developing the Ringmaster Trademark, which it acquired in 1994. By 2002, the business had expanded with the distribution of several brands nationally. At that time it opened in Melbourne and Sydney, and acquired agents in the other states.
Eagle Sports is now the National Distributor for a number of international companies including Patrick (football), Shanghai Double Happiness (DHS) (table tennis), One80 Darts, Swimfit (aquatic products), Wish (tennis and badminton), Baden (basketball), BAS (cricket and hockey) and Fei Lu (athletics). We also import and distribute a huge variety of sporting products under our own brands Ringmaster, Alliance, SuperK, and Champro.
Other achievements of our company include holding Official Ball Licences for both Football NSW and Football Federation Victoria since 2003 and 2005 respectively. Since 2005, Catherine Cox, leading shooter in the Australian Netball Team, has endorsed a range of our netball products.
Our aim is to be a "one-stop shop" for all sporting equipment needs. With our head office and warehouse in Melbourne, and our warehouse on the West Coast, Eagle Sports is well placed to service our customers throughout Australia.
